Tutor Galaxy ~ we honor the fact that each and every 'tutorial' contribution (major or minor) has helped us shape and re-shape this thing called DAI.

“The educator has the duty of not being neutral.” Paulo Freire

DAI as fleeting community: on this page you will find a pretty (but not entirely) complete overview of all the brilliant people who over the course of 20 years have been contributing to our collective thinking, to the growth and development of our curriculum. As one-off guest lecturers, as returning guests, as regular tutors, associate researchers, project leaders, guest curators, coaches and respondents.

By publishing this list we do not claim all these names are still connected to our program (although with many of them we've kept the conversation going, even from a distance) - we do however want to honor the fact that each and every 'tutorial' contribution (major or minor) has helped us shape and re-shape this thing called DAI.

Our love and deep gratitude goes out to all, but especially to the late Marina Vishmidt, Bridget Crone, Diann Bauer, Frank Uwe Laysiepen(Ulay), Chiara Fumai, Mark Fisher, and Ian White. They are no longer with us but their exceptional thinking and acting in the world continue to inspire our (un)learning trajectories.

Tutors and guests who are also alumni of the DAI are to be found at our ALUMNI EMBASSY
