Saskia van der Kroef

Saskia van der Kroef is editor of Metropolis M, the Dutch/English magazine on contemporary art based in The Netherlands. She also regularly contributes to Artforum. Her previous working experience includes project coordination at Manifesta Foundation, the organisation behind Manifesta, the European Biennial of Contemporary Art, and artistic coordination of the visual art programme for Vlaams Cultuurhuis de Brakke Grond in Amsterdam. Saskia van der Kroef studied at the University of Amsterdam (MA, European Cultural History & Policy), the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (MPhil – cum laude, History & Theory of Modern and Contemporary Art) and the San Diego State University, USA.
