Tautvydas Urbelis

Tautvydas Urbelis is a curator, (ex)philosopher and strategist working in the fields of contemporary art, alternative education and speculative architecture. Focusing on intersectional modes of knowledge distribution, transdisciplinary exchange and creative R&D, Urbelis explores the infrastructures and poetics of an increasingly complex world.  Currently he is a curator of Alternative Education and Public Programmes at Rupert (Vilnius, Lithuania) and artistic director of festival Audra (Kaunas, Lithuania). 

Urbelis is an editor of Regeneration [and its Discontents] (Architecture Fund, 2021). Urbelis has worked in a context and in collaboration with Architecture Fund (Lithuania), Delfina Foundation (UK), Foundwork (US), Contemporary Art Centre (Lithuania), Frame (Finland), EXPO Chicago (US), Future Architecture, Kaunas Architecture Festival (Lithuania), London Architecture Festival (UK), Architecture of Shame (Italy), International Kaunas Film Festival (Lithuania) and others.
