Katrin McGauran

Katrin McGauran is a Senior Researcher at SOMO, specialising in corporate tax avoidance, with a focus on the Netherlands’ role in facilitating tax avoidance through Dutch taxation treaties. Katrin also has extensive experience researching migrants’ rights and has studied the role of multinational enterprises in exploiting migrant labourers in Europe. Before joining SOMO in 2009, Katrin worked for a number of NGOs, including La Strada International and Statewatch in London, on issues ranging from migrant rights to environmental and economic justice. Katrin holds a PhD in Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
