Iman Salem

Iman Salem is a Milan based photographer. Her work revolves around the creation of an archive that conveys stories of diasporic communities in Italy.

She is particularly invested in the artistic and political dimensions of the struggle for social justice and more egalitarian forms of existence, of which she is a part of and active participant. Her work also invokes and reflects on inherited spiritual practices.

She has been part of the Archive Ensemble since 2021.
