Suzanne van de Ven

Suzanne van de Ven is an independent curator (e.g. Kunsthalle Fridericianum Kassel, Aksanat Istanbul, Badischer Kunstverein, multiple projects as advisor for SKOR, Foundation for Art and Public Space) and writer (e.g. Metropolis M, Art-Ist, Paletten and several independent publications) based in Amsterdam.

Van de Ven has been guest-professor at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe since 2005, where she conducted and further developed the curatorial programme 'Exhibition Analysis and Practice' (EAP), originally conceived of and implemented by her at the University of Amsterdam in collaboration with the Sandberg Institute from 2002 on. Most recently EAP has been expanded into an internationally migrating programme, based consecutively in Karlsruhe and Amsterdam, in collaboration with the University of Amsterdam and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

Van de Ven is currently developing a project in collaboration with Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
