Miyuki Inoue
Miyuki Inoue is an artist from Japan, living and working in the Netherlands since 2016.
Following her MA studies at Sandberg Institute - Master Of Voice, she has been leading site specific workshops devised as modes of unlearning vocal habits (dictated by societal norms) and as means for amplifying the voice and its potentials. Miyuki is currently working on Humancicada – a participatory sound-sculpture project where participants are asked to imitate the voice of cicadas.
Miyuki has been a resident at Nordic Artist’s Center Dale, Est-Nord-Est and Inter Art Center. She has received support from different funding bodies including the Yoshino Gypsum Art Foundation, Mondriaan Fonds and the Agency of Cultural Affairs in Japan.
