Krista Jantowski (1986) is based in Amsterdam (NL) and runs WALTER books, a bookshop, reading room and hang out in Arnhem (NL) that holds a small but changing selection of books and where reading is approached as an instigator for further conversation.
As of 2020, she became part of the curatorial team of sonsbeek20-24 under the curatorial framework Force Times Distance: On Labour and Its Sonic Ecologies.
In 2017, she partnered up with DAI, which by then became a ‘roaming academy’. The affiliation entails close collaboration between WALTER books and DAI on a variety of levels, from the very practical to the conceptual.
She is a board member of K56 in Arnhem.
