Jackie Abhulimen
Jackie Abhulimen is an activist and cultural worker from and based in Athens, Greece.
Spanning just over a decade, her social justice work is centered on dismantling the inequities that shape the migrant experience in Greece, with a particular focus on securing the rights of the second generation. She has a professional background in advocacy within NGOs where her work involved political activism, social solidarity and civic engagement.
She currently works in cultural programming where her focus has been on creating infrastructure and facilitating space towards bringing narratives on the lived experience of Black people in Greece to the forefront of public discourse. She received her BA in Development and Peace Studies from the University of Bradford, UK.
