Yoeri Meessen

Yoeri Meessen is Manifesta’s Head of Education and External Relations Coordinator. Originally trained as teacher of Fine Arts and Art History, he holds a Masters degree in Arts, Culture and Media from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen specialising in arts and social theory. He has been responsible for setting up the education departments of Manifesta 7 (Italy-2008), Manifesta 8 (Spain-2010) and the education programme of the Manifesta Foundation, Amsterdam. He is coordinator of the Platform for (un)Solicited Research and Advice, together with Saskia van der Kroef and Florian Göttke.
