Eva Wittocx

Eva Wittocx studied Arthistory at the University of Leuven and Warwick (UK).
Between 1998 and 2006 she was curator at S.M.A.K., the museum for contemporary art in Ghent (B). She organised many exhibitions, among others with John McCracken, Orla Barry, Dora Garcia, Yannis Kounellis, Willem Oorebeek, Bernard Frize, Cai Guo Qiang and many others. Since june 2006 she works in STUK Artcentre in Leuven where she is in charge of the exhibition programme and the international performance festival Playground (www.playgroundfestival.be).

Eva Wittocx has contributed to many catalogues and publications, and regularly writes for artmagazines such as Flash Art International or H-ART.
