Dima Stefanova

Dima Stefanova is an Amsterdam-based, Bulgarian born designer, curator of educational programs and cultural entrepreneur. She studied graphic design at Gerrit Rietveld Academie and completed his masters degree at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam.

Her practice unfolds in the fields of design, art, social innovation and cultural heritage. She initiated the Know-How-Show-How platform with the mission to promote and enable the transfer of “know-how” embedded in the cultural heritage of a place or a community.

As its director, she initiates creative investigations, encounters with makers and doers, storytelling and story-making, raising attitude and dialog. KHSH activities take place through inter-European collaborations. Recent partners include: Utrecht Manifest, Sofia-University of Architecture, National Academy of Art-Sofia, Sofia History-Museum, and Plovdiv European-Capital-of-Culture-2019.
