Sagal Farah
Sagal Farah (born in Mogadishu, Somalia) Is a writer and a curator at SAVVY Contemporary - The Laboratory of Form-ideas in Berlin, Germany.
She graduated from Goldsmiths University of London and has published poetry in literary journals, written about Post-colonial poetry and participated in the first iteration of the Lagos Biennial Curatorial Intensive Programme 2019.
Together with Akinbode Akinbiyi and Billy Fowo, she is 2022-2023 tutor for the DAI's, COOP study group – UNRAVELING THE (UNDER-)DEVELOPMENT COMPLEX.
In 2021-2022 the same team tutored COOP study group ~ SOIL IS AN INSCRIBED BODY: on Agropoetics, Land Struggles and the Aesthetics of Sovereignty
