Framework:
The foundation for DAI's curricular framework in 2023-2024, more specifically this years knowledge partnerships with: ARCHIVE (Berlin, Dakar, Milan), Bulegoa z/b (Bilbao), de Appel Amsterdam (Amsterdam), If I Can't Dance I Don't Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution (Amsterdam), Neringa Forest Architecture (Nida), SAVVY Contemporary (Berlin), has been laid by DAI's artistic director and head of program Gabriëlle Schleijpen; to be activated, animated and expanded by students, crew and faculty.
For 2023-2024 our Roaming Academy furtermore engages in already existing as well as some new, heartwarming cultural partnerships with our hosts: PAF (Performing Arts Forum) in St.Erme, France, NAC (Nida Art Colony) in Nida, Lithuania, Centrale Fies (Art Work Space for the production of contemporary performing arts) in Dro, Italy and Vleeshal (Center for Contemporary Art) in Middelburg, the Netherlands ~ while we will also be teaming up with several relevant organisations in Morocco, during Confluences 5 & 7 in Essaouira (their names soon to be announced).

In January we are again most appreciative of the tutors and guests, who are joining us all the way to the remarkable small strip of land, wedged in between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon and all contributing to the defining curriculum components of our program, this DAI Confluence:
HTDTWT (How To Do Things With Theory):
Dr. Sladja Blazan (standing in for Dr. Ana Teixeira Pinto), Mayra A. Rodríguez Castro, Dr.Amit S. Rai, Dr. Ghalya Saadawi, Dr. Grant Watson and Dr. Hypatia Vourloumis. HTDTWT's education leader is Dr. Florian Göttke.
The first session of Palestine Solidarity Teach Outs convened by the HTDTWT tutors will feature a remote contribution by Dr. Leila Farsakh.

Kitchen:
This Kitchen iteration sees 11 student presenters, while our guests Carlos Maria Romero a.k.a. Atabey and Corina Oprea will share their improvised responses and reflections with the presenters and performers and with the student body at large.
The so-called Kitchen is convened by Gabriëlle Schleijpen, with Peter Sattler as production leader and as always luminously activated by student presenters.
Giulia Crispiani will join us in Nida to engage on a series face to face conversations with 2nd year presenters in preparation of the AEROPONIC ACTS 2024, which will be co-curated between her and Elisa Giuliano in close conversation with Gabriëlle Schleijpen and Peter Sattler.
WEAVER | Factory 2.0:
Factory 2.0 is convened by Nikos Doulos with the amazing input of our entire student body to a day packed with Student Led Activities, all fully part of our accredited curriculum.
