Marla Nábožna

Marla Nábožna (she/him) private chef, recipe developer and plant-forward health coach, with the orientation on plant-forward and zero-waste and food transformation.

Worked in the kitchens across Europe: from Portuguese traditional tascas and rural communal kitchens, trough tapas bars, sacred ashram food, ceremonial feasts, London’s foraged- oriented kitchen at Wild Food Cafe, Mexican empanaderia, to Amsterdam at the oldest Indian restaurant, social kitchen with Jamaican- Japanese traditions, as well as a seasonal, plant based fare at Yerba – the latest being Foer, a Nordic / Italian inspired restaurant where almost everything was cooked on open fire.

Last three years she was a resident in a permaculture and somatic-practices oriented community in France, leading the kitchen, planting, gathering, harvesting and composting.

Together with her partner Alicja Jurasińska, Marla co-established the culinary project Soma Food Kitchen.
