Writing a Master Thesis

HTDTWT offers a two year trajectory oriented towards the writing of a master thesis. This path is designed to help students to develop skills to formulate relevant questions which strengthen their praxes and allow them to position themselves and their work in broader contexts. In the first year students are required to follow the Academic Writing Class (which leads to the formulation of a thesis proposal). Building on this proposal, in the second year students receive prolonged personal guidance from one theory tutor assigned to them at the end of the first year of study. In general this is the tutor of the HTDTWT-seminar they will attend during the second year at DAI.

Digital versions of the full texts can be made available for reading to the DAI community (and under strict conditions to "others" as well) upon a written request to Florian Göttke (who, if it concerns a demand from a party outside of DAI, will always ask for permission from the author, with the exception of the Accredition process conducted by the NVAO, during which we are bound to give the appointed site-visitors access to all registered outcomes of the DAI's research trajectories).
