Abstract

In the last decade we have undergone a digital revolution. With blogs, websites, YouTube and facebook everything has become accessible and available on the Internet. This has transformed our daily lives but has also affected culture and art. In this thesis I will critique and question what impacts the Internet has had on art and the art world. By providing an insight and a reflection to the contemporary condition of art after the Internet I will be questioning what is post-Internet art? Is all present cultural production directly or indirectly influenced by the Internet? I will try and understand what the influences of the Internet are and how they are changing the way we perceive images, objects, space and time.
