DAI Confluence 7 ~ August 30 - September 9, 2024
We are nearing the COOP's annual 'grand finale' - the thoughtful and generous intra-action between all students, tutors, guests, and "the public".
For the 8 upcoming days we will return to oceanic Essaouira and re-connect with echinoderms, humans and institutions whose support has been invaluable along the way. The first five days will be entirely dedicated to preparations for COOP SUMMIT 2024 ~ leading up to our three-day assemblage of happenings on the 5th, 6th and 7th of september ~ warmly hosted by Association Essaouira Mogador (otherwise known as Essaouira's cultural hub, Dar Souiri).
Our final day in Essaouira marks the closing of the academic year 2023-2024, which for our precious 2nd year students signifies the 'end' of their two-year journey with DAI. September 8th is therefore entirely dedicated to their farewell. We will sing our hearts out while ceremoniously mourning their departure. Concurrently we celebrate the 'coming community': standing up against the violences of our time.

Giulia Crispiani, Fatima-Zahra Lakrissa, Harun Morisson and Baha Görkem Yalım will attend the summit to report on their findings ~ all to be published on our website.
