DAI BULLETIN | WEEK 6, FEBRUARY 2018

tags: Epen, Heerlen

Dear compañeros, dear all,

The DAI spaceship is about to land in the rolling hills of the South-Netherlands. If you are around in any of the three border regions (we will be amazingly close to Belgium and Germany), we warmly invite you to join us for a post-Carnivalesque bluesy, yet industrious afternoon where we will commit to some deep collective thinking. On Sunday the 18th, Schunck* will generously host our Roaming Assembly 19 in their monumental modernist Glaspaleis in the former coal mining capital, the city of Heerlen. .

SEX, POETRY AND NOTHING: ABOLITION SALON

Co-organised with Platform BK and brilliantly curated by Marina Vishmidt and Kerstin Stakemeier, SEX, POETRY AND NOTHING: ABOLITION SALON will aim at decentering both the concept of autonomy and of reproduction. You will find the full program and all practical details under the link.

The esteemed Assembly guest speakers will actively take part in the sixth roaming DAI Week of the 2017-2018 DAI Art Praxis trajectory. During this DAI Week our master students will furthermore team up with regular tutors and their guests. The seminars, face-to-face meetings, workshops, walks, performances, presentations, study-sessions, round tables, rituals, screenings and small excursions, interspersed with countless communal meals will all take place in or around the tiny rural village of Epen where we will pitch camp.

This month staff, chefs, tutors and guests on board to realize the three defining modules that constitute our program, are:
