INTRODUCTION:
For this DAI Week in Arnhem we have embraced, and feel embraced by sonsbeek20→24 FORCE, TIMES, DISTANCE – on labour and its sonic ecologies. After our energetic joint assemblies in Tunis (March 2020) and Radio Kootwijk (September 2020) we are now looking forward to the next iteration of our collaboration within the set ups of WEAVER: Unruly Beings, AEROPONIC ACTS 2021: UNDERSTORY CHANT and our Roaming Assembly#29 presenting Sonsbeek Council#3 ~ SEXWORK IS HONEST WORK.
From Wednesday 25th till Sunday 29th DAI will be opening its doors to the public for a 3-day marathon, assembling 24 "acts" invigorated by sonsbeek20→24, the followed by a 2-day assembly convened by sonsbeek20→24's curatorial team. Our DAI week will conclude with a 3-day FINAL FIRST YEAR KITCHEN presentations by all members of the 'class of 2021-23' with responses by our theory tutors & our graduating students.
