Alicja Jurasińska

Alicja Jurasińska (she/her) is a creative plant-forward chef from Poland with over a decade of experience in vegan and sustainable cuisine. Her culinary journey spans diverse roles in plant-based restaurants, catering, private dining, and food showcases, emphasizing sustainability, zero-waste practices, and local ingredient sourcing.

As co-founder of Soma Food Kitchen, Alicja has hosted workshops, pop-up dining events, and collaborations across Europe, blending Polish culinary traditions with innovative, gluten-free, and sugar-free dishes. Her passion for permaculture and organic farming informs her seasonal, farm-to-table approach, creating dishes that tell stories of care, memory, and cultural heritage.

Drawing on her background in cultural studies and her upbringing in Poland's borderlands, Alicja's work bridges food, art, and anthropology, celebrating the connections between cuisine and community.
