Clara and Julia von Schantz (b. 1990 in Stockholm, Sweden) make up the collaborative duo Twins Corporated. The duo formed in 2016 to explore topics regarding individuality and identity from the perspective of an identical twinship. Personal observations are juxtaposed with how twinship is represented in society in general, and pop culture and medical epidemiology in particular. One such example is how twins are systematically mistaken for someone else, which contradicts the capitalistic Western imperative for constant individualization. The work materializes as conceptual installations, text, and performance, usually displayed within non-art venues such as offices, medical institutions, and other public places.

They both hold a BFA as a result of joint studies at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts and Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Vienna, and an MA in DAI Art Praxis at the Dutch Art Institute, ArtEZ University of the Arts. They are currently based in Berlin.
