FROM COOP Curating Positions, Stream of consciousness: between collective filmmaking and anarchist thought, comes an anarchic cine concert live in Essaouira, Morocco. It is the golden hour: Curating Positions invites the audience to sit down and experience cinema without a screen...OVER
FIGURES...Tuning into a field of radio frequencies, the antenna has a different concept to borders ok. In radio language: all is noise while we walk between rays and metric of sequential territories. Listening means tuning into ‘image-less lines’ and speaking in FLASHING streams of distinctive signals. Within the metrics of obscurity is where the sender and receiver decode a base: Is there a party line connecting to a geography of homelands? VERIFY Imagine open-land-lines. PRU-DONCE – an intergalactic stream of consciousness leaked in emails, bingeing embroiderers writing letters, into scripts, into weaves, into a cine-concert-distinctive-radio-transmission like no other… OVER
PRU-DONCE – image-less… WAIT…an anarchic approach to relating otherwise: a conscious move against the frequencies of recurring images. SAY AGAIN... “Curating positions is staged in the style of a cine concert, and is designed to immerse you in a distinctive experience. We invite you to open yourselves to a sonic experience, to listen, watch and read together. Become characters of this image-less presentation, engaging all your senses”. WORD BEFORE...an anarchic approach to relating otherwise: a conscious move against the frequencies of recurring images.
We use radio communication codes in the description. The PRU-DONCE term indicates that complete radio silence is no longer required. Restricted (limited) use of the frequency may resume, but it immediately gives way to all further distress communications.
