APRIL 29, 2012  : ALL FIRST YEAR STUDENTS WILL DEPART FOR ISTANBUL IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DAI -PROJECT Situating Artistic Practice Today.

 Istanbul Program April 30

10:00 Meeting at the Hostel, Rapunzel Istanbul (Galata)

11:00 Meeting with Cevdet Erek (documenta 13 participant and guest lecturer at the DAI in 2006) at Istanbul Technical University (Macka Campus)

12:00 Having lunch there with Cevdet Erek at Macka Campus

14:00 – 15:00 visiting Inci Eviner's studio, Cukurcuma, Beyoglu

17:00 meeting with Asena Gunal, Depo, Tophane (to be confirmed)

18:30 Meeting with Ahmet at the hostel

19: 00 Party at Ahmet's house;

May 1 (Istiklal Street might be chaotic on that day because of Labour Day demonstrations, we might need to avoid walking around there)

MAY 3, 2012 : FIRST YEAR STUDENTS WILL BE JOINED AT THE AIRPORT BY SECOND YEAR STUDENTS. 

TOGETHER THEY WILL TRAVEL TO DAKAR IN SENEGAL.
