Syllabus 2024 - 2025
The MA in Art Praxis study trajectory of the DAI is fully accredited by the Dutch Governement and it is in line with international standards. DAI Art Praxis invites its students to engage with four distinctive curriculum components. First and second year students are required to take part in all four of them and the two generations will study together during all DAI Confluences, albeit with slight differences in the division of workload. This is mainly caused by the finalization of the written master thesis towards the end of the second year.
DAI Confluence 1 took place in November 2024 at PAF in St. Erme, France. Here DAI's Faculty 2024-2025 introduced both the formal as well as the curatorial framework (including all corresponding methods of 'working together') for the How To Do things With Theory seminars, the COOP study groups, the Kitchen|A-ACTS, WEAVER plus the FACTORY student leds .
In this Syllabus you will read more about the formal aspects of study with DAI as well as be guided towards the actual (curated) content of the four defining Curriculum Components in the academic year 2024-2025. But before going there you are advised to have a look at our
GLOSSARY
