Article 2 a: The artistic/content-based test has already been administered by the admission examiners and is always a condition for admission and should therefore be excluded from thisprocedure, otherwise the same qualification is weighted twice. The aim of this procedure is to demonstrate that the candidate has the knowledge, insights and skills at the level of a higher professional education bachelor degree.

Article 2 b: ‘Substantial preliminary education is required’. This means that the candidate must have completed a course or a combination of courses that at least approaches the level of an HPE bachelor degree.

The combination of Articles 1c and 2b offers the possibility to build in a certain shift in scale in the assessment. A candidate who proves to have a lot of professional experience at the bachelor degree level has some leeway in contributing preliminary education and vice versa.
