Zuzana-Markéta Macková is a Berlin & Prague-based artist, trained in new media & classical photography. She works in multiple mediums, mostly video, radio plays, scripted happenings, immersive theatre, printed material, live events, and installation art. Working with topics such as East Europe vs. West Europe, sci-fi, ADHD, hypercapitalism, and conspiracy theories. Her work can be defined by her OCD-like attention to detail, humorous elements, and hidden easter eggs. Zuzana is a board member of Display - Association for Research and Collective Practice(Prague, Czech Republic) and has curated several exhibitions at Panel Gallery (Prague, Czech Republic). Additionally, she co-founded Until Further Notice collective during the initial year of the Covid-19 pandemic.


Zuzana exhibited her works in DOCK Gallery (Basel, Switzerland 2022), Ladislav Sutnar Gallery (Pilsen, Czech Republic, 2022), GHMP (Prague, Czech Republic, 2022), Holešovická Šachta (Prague, Czech Republic, 2021), Archa theatre (Prague, Czech Republic, 2020), Lucie Drdova Gallery (Prague, Czech Republic, 2020), Meetfactory (Prague, Czech Republic, 2019), City Surfer Office (Prague, Czech Republic, 2019) and Fotopub festival (Novo Mesto, Slovenia, 2018). She was invited as a guest at the symposium "Boundaries: Biography" at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art (Pilsen, Czech Republic, 2022), and she was awarded first place in the Fotopub Portfolio Prize (Novo Mesto, Slovenia, 2017).
