📖An introduction to reading neume notation📖
followed by
ヾ(´〇`)ﾉ ♪🎶♪ ♪Group singing of some simple Chant melodiesヾ(´〇`)ﾉ ♪🎶♪ ♪
possibly followed by
🔥some tentative polyphonic improvisation based on these melodies🔥
This workshop is open to all voices and all levels of comfort with singing—whether or not you have any experience reading music or singing in an organised fashion. Pending diligent local inquiry, it will hopefully take place in one of Salina's churches, to make best use of the acoustics and to offer some transportation of the imaginary into historical contexts where these activities were commonplace.
