Olga Micińska

Born 1987 in Łódź, Poland, Olga Micińska is a visual artist currently living in Amsterdam. Apart from an MA in Art Praxis from the DAI, Olga  holds an MFA in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. 

Olga is a trained woodworker. she collaborates with craft studios of various techniques. As member of Timber Framers Guild she participated in several community building projects in Poland and the USA. Recently she has initiated The Building Institute, an experimental and non-formal organization engaging with diverse questions surrounding the subject of labour and attempting to emancipate the undermined knowledges dwelling in the craft domains.
