COOP study group Assembling Land: Rehearsals towards Place-making presents:
Assembling Land: Rehearsals towards Place-making invites you to participate in a multi-weaving day of gathering to reflect on critical issues faced by our communities today. Guided by four main thematic chapters: housing, water, out/institution and land, this event will feature pamphlets with contributions by peers and friends from Morocco, Palestine and elsewhere.
Our COOP Summit acts as an open rehearsal of creative interpretations, transforming text material into a resource of coming together. During the gathering we will craft ad hoc activations that transcend the solitary sense of reading—accompanied by vibrant jamming sessions to the act of offering a homemade orange cake. This interactive format not only breathes life into the words we will share, but also fosters deeper connections among the pamphet’s content and the event’s attendees.
From the intrinsic political implications of water, land,housing, and out/institution, to our turn to language as a tool to collectively engage with the Palestinian resistance to settler colonial violence, both the pamphlet and Summit event expand into poetic-narrative readings situated within an improvised soundscape that weaves together a flow of intra-action amongst us all.
"تخيل الأرض: تجارب نحو تشكيل المكان" يدعوكم للمشاركة في يوم متعدد من اللقاءات المتشابكة للتأمل في القضايا ملحة تواجه مجتمعاتنا اليوم. معتمدين على اربعة ثيمات رئيسية تتناول موضوع الاسكان، المياه، المؤسسة/ اللامؤسسة والأرض، سنقوم بمشاركة كتيبات تحتوي نصوص كُتبت كَمُساهمات من زملاء وأصدقاء من المغرب وفلسطين وأماكن أخرى.
تعاونيتنا "تخيل الأرض" تمثل تجارب لتأملات إبداعية مفتوحة، حيث نحوّل النصوص إلى موارد تجمعنا. خلال اللقاء، سنقوم بتنظيم تفاعلات تلقائية تتجاوز الشعور الفردي بالقراءة، تتخللها جلسات ارتجالية حيوية، وصولًا إلى تقديم كعكة برتقال منزلية الصنع. هذا التنسيق التفاعلي لا يحيي الكلمات التي نشاركها فحسب، بل يعزز أيضًا الروابط العميقة بين محتوى الكتيب والمشاركين في الحدث.
بدءًا من التداعيات السياسية الجوهرية للمياه، الأرض، الإسكان، والمؤسسة/اللامؤسسة، إلى استخدامنا للغة كأداة للتفاعل الجماعي مع المقاومة الفلسطينية ضد العنف الاستعماري الاستيطاني، يتوسع كل من الكتيب وعرض التعاونية إلى قراءات شعرية وسردية تقع ضمن مشهد صوتي مرتجل ينسج تفاعلات بين جميع المشاركين.
