The DAI is thrilled to share with you that Foundland Collective (Ghalia Elsrakbi (left) and Lauren Alexander (right) have been shortlisted for the Prix de Rome 2015. Foundland has not only been guest tutoring at the DAI, Lauren Alexander (DAI alumna 2011) is also the energetic and engaged designer of all our communication, from banners and posters to all things digital including this website. We are so proud !

3+4 October: Join us at BAK basecamp in Utrecht for 'If Not Here, Then Where? Making Our Home In Shared Struggle'. Conveners: Ana Teixeira Pinto and Gabriëlle Schleijpen. On the occasion of Gabriëlle’s completion of her tenure as artistic director of the DAI (2002-2026) we come together to insist that belonging is forged through shared production, struggle, and infrastructure.

APRiCot Garden brings together research trajectories by alumni and practitioners from the wider DAI community. This second, special edition, 'If Not Here, Then Where?, presents talks, conversations, lecture-performances, exhibition (till 18 Oct), agitational workshop, book launch 'A Cut Through the Screen: Struggles' Reverberations in Cinema' and an experiment with the dance floor as curatorial space and place of study.
