New Conditions: a space for different events from music to discussions to art, in which to get together and reflect. 

Organized by artist Taf Hassam and writer Janine Armin New Conditions is an independent art, music, publishing space and bedroom in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Home to Second Culture Press, we make books, serve drinks, and organize events.

Operating on a weekly basis for a few months in the year, we host a café evening in our space on Thursdays (normally) and frequently commission artists and thinkers to produce new works, performances, and exhibitions. The first Thursday of every month we also offer a delicious dinner prepared by us and special guests.
