SCHEDULE DAI-WEEK 17-22 March 2016

March 17: Thursday

On the first day of each DAI week, the students split up in groups for the so-called COOP Academy; three commissioned projects tailored around specific research questions, organised and tutored by partnering organisations The Van Abbemuseum, Open! and Casco, Office for Art, Design and Theory.

14:00 Seminar Publishing Class: Between Animals or Beyond Being Human, framework by Open!

Today with curator and course leader Jorinde Seijdel, Associate PHD researcher Florian Göttke and guest tutor Kayla Anderson.

19:30-21:00 Continuing the INLAND conversation & group discussion about final project presentation

March 18: Friday

9.00 -10:30 All students & Gabriëlle Schleijpen meet in front of the White Villa at Sonsbeek Park, for a meeting with Park Ranger Jeroen Glissenaar about staying in the park in June

One on one meetings between students and (guest) tutors. This week with: Nick Aikens, Christian Nyampeta, Jorinde Seijdel, Florian Göttke, Kayla Anderson, Sanne Oorthuizen, Fernando Garcia Dory, Sarah Pierce, Tirdad Zolghadr, Jon Mikel Euba, Susan Gibb, Ruth Noack and Tina Gverović.

On the Saturday of each DAI-week, the students split up in three groups for the projects that together form the so-called ROAMING ACADEMY.

FAILURE TO TRANSMIT

A one-day assembly in Showroom Arnhem with speakers, screenings, performance and archives.

Curated and presented by Ruth Noack.

With presentations by Mary Ellen Carroll, Anna Daučíková, Antke Engel, May Adadol Ingawanij, Marcelo Rezende

10:45-17:30 The Kitchen / Not The Restaurant; all students attend the lecture-presentations or lecture-performances by 8 students, this DAI-week's guest respondents are Marcelo Rezende and Mary Ellen Carroll, with Yael Davids in the audience. Yael will act as a coach to these eight presenters and return on May 12, 2016 for tutorials as well as on June 5 & 6, 2016 for a workshop on presenting/performing a lecture.
