The Dordrecht Centre for Contemporary Art cordially invites you to attend the festive opening of the exhibition POST DORDT on Saturday 29 at 17 hrs. Gabriëlle Schleijpen, Head of the Dutch Art Institute ( upon invitation by the curators), will present an openingspeech. There will be performances by Rana Hamadeh and Teresa Maria Diaz Nerio.

Hanne Hagenaars (general editor Mister Motley), Juliette Jongma (galleryowner), Theo Tegelaers (curator SKOR) and Maaike van de Wiel (CBK Dordrecht) made a selection of works by artists who recently finished their studies at one of the Dutch post-graduate fine art academies. They choose works by Teresa Maria Diaz Nerio, Rana Hamadeh (both Dutch Art Institute), Anke Kuipers (Piet Zwart Instituut), Wypke Jannette Walen, Julia Ortlieb, Gemma Pauwels (all three Sandberg Instituut), Eun Hyung Kim (Utrecht Graduate School for Visual Art and Design, MA Fine Art) and Ronald Saeijs (AKV/St. Joost, MA Fine Art).

The exhibition is expressly not meant to be a sample overview of the Dutch post-graduate institutes, nor does it strive to reflect the current state of contemporary visual art. The commitee has been asked to make their personal choices with the objective of composing an extraordinary exhibition.
