Closing Performance: Rana Hamadeh
Sunday 6 July
Kerry Group former Golden Vale Milk Plant,
3-4 pm
Hussein Minni Wa Ana Min Hussein (Hussein is of me and I am of Hussein) is the first stage of a new episode within Rana Hamadeh's ongoing umbrella project, Alien Encounters, which functions as long term multi-faceted research into the conjunctions of the legal and the spatial. This work is a script of an audio play that can only be accessed through a time-based text on LED displays. On Sunday 6 July Rana Hamadeh will offer an original performance to accompany this work at the Kerry Group former Golden Vale Milk Plant. This performance activates her new project for EVA that is co-produced with steirischer herbst, Graz and has been developed from her new sound work for the Liverpool Biennial that opens to the public on Saturday 5 July.
