Manifesta 10 / Public Program
I will be participating in Manifesta 10 with the project Transformers St. Petersburg.
The project arose from the narratives of the resourceful labor force of legal and illegal migrants, who with limited resources and opportunities, are 'making do' in Russia today.
Transformers is an ode to the creative and resilient attitude needed to survive in contemporary Russian society. This "transformer attitude" stands in sharp contrast to the general perception of immigrants, and within Russian society in particular.
In addition on July 9–10 4:00–8:00 p.m Transformers St. Petersburg / Living Statue
can be visited at Vitebsk Station, Zagorodny av. 52
Hope to see you there.
