I am writing to you to invite you on Expodium's kick start of CARTESIUS LABORATORY which I am currently very much involved in:

CARTESIUS LABORATORY (CL) is a space of research, knowledge exchange, experimentation, innovating thinking and doing IN and FOR Cartesius. It runs parallel and facilitates the revitalization of the area through the contribution of national and international experts from various fields of practice (urban thinkers, artists, philosophers, cultural activists, local initiatives).
Precisely because the Cartesius area has been neglected for decades, it encompasses a thrilling mixture of its own dynamics, unwritten rules and paralegal activities that should be looked upon critically and examined for their genuine potentials. Cartesius is certainly not a "Pirate Utopia" but could we for one minute consider the possibility that it could sustain valuable features that relate to a new 2.0 version of Hakim Bey's Temporary Autonomous Zone (T.A.Z.)

For the first event of the series, we are pleased to have on board anarchistic theories expert and 'drifting' enthusiast Christian Greer (US), media theories specialist Martijn de Waal(NL), KAPITAAL -new design collective in Utrecht, as well as Autobahn design office among others.
