Federica Nicastro (b. 1996, IT) is an interdisciplinary writer and cultural producer, based in between Milan and Rome.
In her practice, she develops text-based formats, that are eventually activated through spoken word, a means to visualise architectures of thoughts and perception. Her research focus is on the unvoiced and the residual, and how they are implicated in both private and public spaces.
Federica holds a BA at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan (2021), and a MA in art praxis at the Dutch Art Institute, ArtEZ University of the Arts (2022-2024).
She has been recently a contributing writer for PW-Magazine (2023) and This is Badland (2023). She collaborated with Iniziative di II (Rome) as a co-curator for the first event of una notte sola (2023). In 2023, she worked as exhibition producer and editorial coordinator for CURA. / Basement Roma. Since 2024, she is Programs Assistant for CASTRO Projects, an artist-run experimental educational program in Rome.
