Nisren Abasher Ahmed is artist-in-residence at the Thami Mnyele Foundation from March till end of May 2012
Nisren Abasher Ahmed (born in Sudan, Omdurman) graduated in sculpture in 2006 at the College of Fine Arts, Sudan University in Khartoum. Besides sculpture she also works with animation and performance.
Nisren Ahmed was an active participant in the DAI-project Here as the Centre of the World, both during the workshops in Enschede as well as in Khartoum. She also attended the Here As The Centre book launch in Istanbul in 2010.
She will be artist-in-residence at the Thami Mnyele Foundation in Amsterdam from March till end of May 2012.
