COOP SUMMIT 2023 ~ Cure for the Itch

Friday, June 16 ~ 14:30  - 16:30

Location: Nida, Lithuania. Address: Parking Lot – Taikos 41, 55.301203, 20.987084

COOP study group Long Time No See: Forming a new art economy of the commons presents:

We play, sing along, make moves, become vectors of collectivity owned by somebody else - extracted for their benefit. It is hard not to be cynical. What is the smallest denominator in a group? Who is invited? Do you speak English? Do you speak? Do you?

Collectivity as wait/weight

Collectivity as a S/state

Collectivity as E/earth

Sit down with us to collect

Long Time No See: Forming a new art economy of the commons invites you to enter a space of fracture and dissonance to follow the traces of the invisible uniting and separating. Open the rulebook but don't follow it. Delete the win/fail states from the equation of  hegemonic success and fun. After all, no good story ever started with a law abiding citizenry.

Following up on the collective processes of play, economics and their failures we embrace, Cure for the Itch reflects upon our (im)possibilities of gathering seeking answers in the endless forest, watching over from a tower.
