The Aeolian Islands are linked to Sicily and the Italian mainland by high-speed hydrofoil. On May 11 DAI will organize a touring car (14:00) from Catania airport to Milazzo (both on the main island Sicily) from where the ferry/hydrofoil to Salina departs.

Guided walk to amaneï to drop luggage ~ walk to La Vela.
20:00 Dinner at La Vela
Via Risorgimento, 135, Santa Marina Salina
21:30 pick up luggage at amaneï for transfer to DAI student's & Appel participant's accommodations in Lingua.
