rongwrong / D.F.Wallace, The Pale King, an integral reading starting Monday, February 20, 2012

| tags: Amsterdam, Rome
Dear Friends,

The 21st of February 2012 would have marked the 50th birthday of a much loved author, David Foster Wallace (1962-2008). We want to remember him and his words via the physical exhaustion of a non stop complete reading of his last unfinished book 'The Pale King'. Inspired by the reading initiated by writer Sandro Veronese in Rome, this marathon welcomes writers, artists and book lovers to come over, read out loud and shift hours ; everybody is welcome to join us and participate, through days and nights, from Monday the 20th until the last line is read.

The estimated time of the reading is 35 hours.

A live stream of the reading will be on the rongwrong website, as well as a overseas connection for our distant friends.

There will be discrete drinks and occasional sandwiches, in between the lines.

Please note that the reading will start at 6pm on Monday the 20th, but you can join later through the night !
Please write to us soon if you cannot come to Amsterdam but would still like to read a page.
