Wonderful to be updated by dear Avan Omar (DAI, 2017) on her latest big project in Kurdistan, entitled THESE PEOPLE ARE WORKING, of which she is the curator and organizer. Between July 2021 and May 2022 it is bringing (Covid permitting) exhibitions, seminars, conversations, texts and more to Sulaymaniyah and beyond. As always it gives us great pleasure to see that our alumni involve other alumni in their projects; this time Avan invited artistic researcher Marie-Andree Pellerin ( DAI, 2015) to contribute.
