Sanne Kabalt (DAI, 2018) is researching, writing and making work around the subject of "The Cough". With this project she won "The Artistic Research Grant on the remembrance of the COVID-19 crisis" from the Centraal Museum, Universiteit Utrecht & ZonMW. The University of Utrecht, ZonMw & Centraal Museum Utrecht awarded three artists with a grant for artistic research on the corona-crisis, memory and mourning. Sanne Kabalt (DAI, 2018) is one of the three selected recipients, together with Bart Lunenburg and Rosa Everts. Kabalt will investigate the phenomenon of The Cough through stories, literature and talks with ex-patients and is planning a mixed media installation. Here’s the press release (in Dutch) by the UU. |
