Olivia Abächerli
Olivia Abächerli (*1992, Switzerland) is a visual artist. Her work combines artistic research with different means of drawing: often layering video and animation, while including performative elements.Similar to a proto-or micro-archaeologist, she’s trying to scrape poetic sticky narratives from under, beneath or (hidden) inside prevalent knowledge. Those narratives are tools for socio-economic contextualization; thus she examines the political potential of intimate fiction through the use of affect.
