*The Heij-Konijn Fund awards grants to young visual and performing artists wishing to embark on or continue their professional development. Successful completion of a degree programme is not a criterion for grant awards. The Heij-Konijn Fund offers one-time grants of amounts up to € 2,500, which can be used for a master class, internship, an individual art project or similar objectives. Every year, this fund also offers an artist the opportunity to live and work for six months at Ringenberg Castle in Germany. Mrs Heij-Konijn, widow of former Alderman for the city of Arnhem, J. Heij, established the fund in 1995 for young people aged 30 and younger who live, work or study in the greater Arnhem area. The geographical requirement does not apply to musicians. More information is available on the Heij-Konijn Fund website.
*In keeping with the intentions of founder, Maria van Duyst van Voorhout, the Stichting Fundatie van de Vrijvrouwe van Renswoude in the Hague (translation: Foundation of the Lady of the Renswoude Fiefdom) will award grants, as a rule, to young people aged 30 and younger, who, for some reason, are partially or entirely unable to finance the degree programme or studies they wish to follow. These grants are intended to help recipients enrol in or complete their studies. Financial support is available in the form of grant awards or interest-free loans.
*Not directly involved in scholarships for MA students, but could still be of interest to specific activist individuals/groups within the DAI community: Open Society Foundations
