This is the sixth issue of the monthly DAI-bulletin informing you about our program, about important dates and events. Please, PRINT THIS TEXT and keep it with you as an extension to your diary. Meanwhile participants are strongly advised to not give up keeping a keen eye on the billboard in the cantina. Alterations in the program will be posted there as usual.
DREAMS AND CONFLICTS - Entitled' Dreams and Conflicts' the 2003 edition of the Venice Biennale will be opened in June, lasting till November 2003. DAI has arranged for a touringcar and a hotel. We will depart on the 12th and be back in the Netherlands on the 18th of October.
The trip is compulsory for all 2003-2004 DAI students.

At 11.00 AM meeting in DAI's cantina between curator Manel Esparbe y Gasca and the participants in NOT HOMESICK, DAI's final show at Villa de Bank and the Rijksmuseum Twente. If you are not able to attend, please inform Hilly. Futher appointments between participants and curator will be dealt with by themselves.

At 12 PM meeting in DAI's cantina for ALL students that are intending to continue their studies at DAI next year, with the coursedirector (Gabriëlle) and a future mentor of DAI public (Debra). - more information about DAI 's new profile : DAI private & DAI public - information & making of a schedule for the coming assesments - information & making of a schedule for the THE LEIDSCHE RIJN- PARASITES project in wich DAI is invited to participate together with the Sandberginstitute, De Ateliers, DAS-arts, the Frank Mohrinstitute, the Piet Zwart Institute and others - information about the developments in regard to the availability of studiospace next year. -discussion about DAI's houserules and other 'inconveniences'. * Martha Colburn (b. 1971) grew up on a farm in the red-necked woods outside of Gettysburg, PA, where inbetween chopping wood, hunting and tending to the animals, she managed to work at her art. Prior to moving to Holland to attend the Rijksakademie Van Beeldende Kunsten (2001 - 2003) she lived ten years in the ghettos of Baltimore City, producing over 30 films, and releasing 7 albums of her music. With hundreds of screenings of her films under her belt (including The Museum of Modern Art and The Whitney), she is now extending her vision into new visual and auditory mediums.
