Artist and longstanding climate activist Teresa Borasino ( DAI, 2005) asks us to share this call for action on November 29. Watch the video with Raki Ap, spokesman in the Netherlands for the Free West Papua Campaign.

In exactly one week, we are going to take massive action to continue fighting for Climate Justice.

We are joining the youth-led movement that is calling for a Global Day for Climate Action on Friday November 29, on the eve of COP25 – the 25th UN Climate Change Conference in Madrid.

Join the fight for climate justice, and take action with the youth on November 29.

Why are we fighting for Climate Justice? Listen to this powerful speech by Raki Ap - Spokesperson of the Free West Papua Campaign - during the September Climate Strike here in the Netherlands. In this video, Raki describes the building blocks of the struggle for climate justice and dares to call and confront the root causes of the climate crisis: colonialism, capitalism and racism.

We can’t tackle the climate crisis without transforming the system we live in. A system that is led by short-sighted, profit-driven politicians and corporations, with the fossil fuel industry as the biggest stakeholder.

When we act together we can demand the end of the fossil fuel era and start paving the way for a just transition towards a system that centers life, not profit. It is time for Climate Justice!

Take a look at this map to find your local Fridays for Future branch and join them in taking action on November 29.

Help us get as many people as possible in the streets next Friday by sharing this video.

In solidarity,

Teresa Borasino for Fossielvrij NL & 350.org
