Isabel Marcos
Isabel Marcos (1986) lives and works between Madrid and Rotterdam. She is a visual artist who holds a PhD from the UCLM University, educator at Universidad Europea and cofounder of kilo Translations. Her work centers around the idea of "unstable architectures," exploring this concept through a range of media including film, performance scripts, sculpture, and publications.
Marcos has presented her work in institutions and independent spaces internationally, including: Patio Herreriano (Valladolid), La Casa Encendida (Madrid); Kunstfort bij Vijfhuizen (Haarlemmermeer); Art Transparent (Wroclaw); Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo - CA2M (Móstoles); Rib (Rotterdam); Upominki (Rotterdam); La Ira de Dios (Buenos Aires); Matadero (Madrid); Sala Amadís (Madrid); Het Wilde Weten (Rotterdam); Fundación Bilbao Arte (Bilbao ); Casco Art Institute (Utrecht); Sala de Arte Joven (Madrid); Sala Unamuno (Salamanca); Raw Material Company (Dakar); Cité Internationale des Arts (Paris); etc.
