La Colonie is pleased to invite you to its first experimental seminar of fall 2018:Decolonize the Collection. The restitution of ancient art objects of the people that were yesterday reduced to slavery and colonized will always be a sensitive question because of the History of which it is the heir. La Colonie offers an experimental seminar, a cross-disciplinary symposium that aims to illuminate, in a particular political moment, the complexity of this issue.
